A child who relieved themself via drawing and coloring those drawings, grew up to discover print, web and other media.

Her first degree pursued was in Digital Imaging at a hands-on school. Interrupted by a military war deployment, she came back to complete a degree in Applied Science - Visual Communications. Shortly after, the military sent her to study photography and writing for a occupation specialty of Public Affairs - Photojournalism. She wasted no time in pursuing a career in this field, working at Fort Bliss, quickly being promoted to Editor.

However, the desire to explore web and digital media led her to a Bachelor's degree in software engineering. To her pleasure, she became the most visually adept full-stack developer at HPE. Her web applications and dashboard developments were on-point with branding guidelines (this often gets overlooked by developers) and visually appealing to users, stakeholders and the brand team, alike.

"Being a full-stack developer was cool," said Marcie, "I got to use the analytical and technical side of my brain, then switch over to the creative side for UI, UX. Plus, seeing something work that I created and hearing positive reviews - it never gets old!"
